On February 27th 2009 Data Access Worldwide transferred their newsgroup forums to a new web-based system. As of that date the old newsgroups have been flagged readonly and WASP is no longer scanning them. All the old newsgroup messages have been ported to the new web-system and may be searched via the search facilities implemented there.
However, WASP will continue to run as a service enabling free text search in the almost 200,000 messages accumulated until 02/27/2009.
